What is a Cargo Bike?

We like to think of Cargo Bikes as the Minivan of the bicycle world. There are two main types of Cargo Bike:

• Front Loaders (which like the name suggests have a box type of constrution on the front of the bicycle frame). They are also know as Bakfiets of LongJohns.

• Long- or Mid- Tails which are a stretched out version of a bike. They allow more carrying capacity than a normal bike and can accommodate one or two passengers carried behind the rider.

Can my Cargo Bike be electrified?

Absolutely! Cargo Bike World specialise in e-Cargo Bikes making those hill trips or heavy deliveries painless. That said, we also offer non-electric Cargo Bikes.
